As an event planner, we are in charge of all the moving parts and pieces including the team of event professionals. As the leader of the team, it’s important to take care of our team members so they can do the best job possible.
Here are tips to help your vendor team perform their best work:
1) Confirm that vendors will be served hot meals if they will be on-site during the event. Accommodate their food allergies if possible when confirming their meal.
2) Offer water and sodas as they are working, especially on hot days.
3) If there is extra cake or dessert after guests have been served, offer a slice to the event vendors who are on-site.
4) Ask for their input on the wedding day timelines if their ability to do the best job is dependent on your event schedule.
