Quick Tip: We Don’t Have Magic Wands
There will be weddings and events where things happen that are completely out of your control. The florist delivery truck breaks down, it rains, the band forgot the first dance song, the food was cold, one of the guests knocked the cake over, etc.
We all have stories of mishaps and wedding day disasters that we simply could not have avoided no matter how prepared we could have been. We have to do the best with what we have. We think fast, make good decisions, keep our temper under control and exude patience and professionalism no matter what the circumstances.
Trust in yourself and know you did your best, even when things don’t go as planned. We all need to pat ourselves on the back once in awhile. Take a minute to congratulate yourself on a job well done even if mishaps occurred.

If only we did have magic wands! Although I’m pretty sure mishaps would still occur. Some things even magic can’t fix. Definitely a relief though to see a wedding go off with minor issues because it could be so much worse.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Lacey!
Amen to that. I feel like I’m going through that today in the planning process with a client and this was a great reminder. Thanks Debbie! Perfect post for my day. =)
So glad the timing was good. Thanks for commenting Lauren!
