Do you feel overwhelmed trying to keep up with your event planning business blog? Here are 3 super quick post ideas!
1) Showcase a Pinterest board
Take a screenshot of one of your Pinterest boards and use it in a blog post with a link to the actual board on Pinterest. Write a brief description in your blog post about the board. This is such a quick and easy way to get a post up and also to direct website visitors to follow you on Pinterest. It can also show your design aesthetic to potential clients.
2) Share a round up post
This is similar to what I do on my Friday Favorites here on Planner’s Lounge. Share a post that has links to your favorite planning articles for engaged couples. The Perfect Wedding Guide blog and the Every Last Detail website have tons of informative articles for brides. It is easy to put these in a quick blog post.
3) Share what you are working on
Take five minutes to write a post about what you have been working on with your clients in the past week. Mention a venue where you just did a tasting with some clients. Share about a floral mock-up that you attended and link to the florist’s website.
You can also talk about how you are working on a detailed wedding day timeline this week for a particular type of wedding (maybe you have a Hindu wedding, or a trendy modern wedding, or a circus theme wedding – what ever it is, mention it!). This is a quick post idea because you know what you have been working on and just need to get a 3-4 sentences down to create a blog post that allows potential clients to get a feel for all of the details you can help with as a professional wedding planner.
